Managing the waves

Wow, just got hit with a big wave of emotion, boom! The thought arrives, then the tears flow. Really miss mom, my brother and my aunt.

Cancer sucks

I went to visit my dad last week to help him adjust life without mom. While in Wisconsin I visited my brother who is battling aggressive melanoma. He's struggling with a lot of pain, he walks with a cane, can't work and the doctors are trying to find the right combination of drugs. I also learned that my dad's sister is battling breast cancer and I just received a call from my cousin, Aunt Gerry passed away either last night or early this morning. Cancer sucks, enough already
