Down 21, more to lose

Back before I was diagnosed, I weighed in around 172...then the cancer came. My weight ballooned while I was on hormone therapy and I got as high as 203. The tough part was because the medication caused so much fatigue, I had a helluva time getting moving. Even then my Dr. Said I would have a tough time losing the weight until after I was off. Fast forward to last Oct, I took the last of my cancer meds on 10/15/11 and started Weight Watchers on Dec 3rd at 202.6 pounds. Today I weighed in at 181 and my mission is to keep the steady progress and get down to 170. So far, so good. Hell, I feel as good as Charles Barkley!

Still boring

Visited the oncologist this week and the PSA came back at 0.0.
Awesome!

It's been 6 months since I took the last Casodex and 12+ months since my last shot of Lupron.
The meds were a bitch to be on but they did the trick. Cancer is in remission.

I've also started losing some of the 30+ pounds I gained since getting diagnosed 3 yrs ago.
Down 18 lbs with 12-15 more to go.

My energy is good, hot flashes are gone....hell, my blood pressure was 97/64, I think hats the lowest it's been in 3 yrs.

Yeah, it's good to be a boring patient.

Thanks to everyone for your support.

Until next time

Home PC is screwed up

For some reason I cannot log in and I'm horrible at remembering to post with my iPad.

I guess I'm a lousy blogger
