NCAA, March Madness

These first 4 days of the tourney are AWESOME! Incredible energy, elation and also disappointment and heartache. 99.9% of these kids won't make it to the NBA so they're playing for the love of the game. Warren Buffett won't be sending me the $1B for a perfect bracket, I'm not off to a good start. Looking forward to the next 3 days! My health is good, work is keeping me busy.... As Jake would say, 'Life is Good' I hope things are awesome in your world

72 degrees + sun = 7.5 miles

What a beautiful day, so I took advantage of it. Walking with Mocha this morning for almost 5 miles, then after lunch with Bradley, he and I walked for just under 2 miles. Plain and simple,it was an awesome day. So awesome, it included some Graeter's Ice Cream. If you've never had Graeter's, you've never had the world's best ice cream. None othe comes close. I'm so full I could bust...too many scoops :)

This work thing is...

Well, work again. You know, travel, flights, hotels, rental cars, thunderstorms, etc. I've been back to work for 7 business days and it's been great diving in with both feet. Coming back after two months isn't the easiest but I have a great inside sales teammate who is helping me get up to speed. Health-wise, I'm still about 80% physically and working on my stamina via walking. I need to work more on my strength training and get ripped...hah! A little tone would be great. The plumbing is still working good and I'm getting more used to the 'new normal' outside the house so to speak. Short post today, splitting headache that I'm sure will subside. Be healthy, be happy

Great walk, great day!

My 10yr old lab puppy, Mocha and I took a very brisk walk today. I have to share it was at a pace that I was used to walking and it felt awesome! I'm going to run a half marathon next week...feeling grea. Well, just kidding about the half marathon but I will definitely pick up the walk schedule in frequency and length because I need to continue to build stamina. Ready to dive in with both feet at work on Monday but not before I try to put in 10 miles tomorrow. I did over 5 today and the weather is supposed to be awesome. On another note....are you getting ready for March Madness yet?
